Since 1983 the water sports centre operates in Nea Roda beach. Since summer 2001 it has been relocated five kilometers further towards Ouranoupolis, to the beach next to EAGLES PALACE hotel and 1 Km away from Akrathos hotel thus, offering more advanced accommodation services like those that such hotels can provide. Water conditions in the new location of the Nea Roda Water Sports Centre are much better, taking into account the fact that it is a southern area, and that the islet of Amouliani, which is only five minutes away by boat, where the water conditions are perfect even when blow south wind.
