In 1960, Joseph Lemoniadis created a restaurant on the seafront, with the aim of accommodating all the visitors of Mount Athos and the few inhabitants of the area at that time. His principle was to always use fresh fish from the fishermen of the village as well as clean vegetables that he chose himself. The rule was of course that all ingredients should be fresh and always of the best quality.
From then until now things have changed and the only thing that has remained unchanged is the tradition of fine cuisine based on the best ingredients cooked in the traditional way. It is no coincidence that after half a century Restaurant Lemoniadis dominates the beach of Ouranoupolis and touches Greek and foreign visitors, always keeping the culture and tradition of another but unique era. The selection of each product you see on the menu is truly unique. The wide variety of wines of all kinds can satisfy even the most demanding connoisseurs with labels and flavours from almost all over Greece.
